DNSFilter is a company that specializes in DNS (Domain Name System) security and content filtering solutions. Their primary focus is to provide businesses and organizations with tools to protect their networks from various online threats, including malware, phishing, and botnets, by filtering DNS requests.

I began collaborating with DNSFilter’s Director of Content Marketing, Serena R., in 2022 and have delivered a range of videos, across several projects, to increase brand awareness and support their content strategy.

Grand Prix Hype Reel

DNSFilter aimed to create an energetic and engaging 90-second hype video for the Indianapolis Grand Prix, featuring their sponsored race car and driver, Romain Grosjean. The video was intended to promote the race and capture the excitement of the event.

Materials Provided:

  • Audio from driver Romain Grosjean

  • Racetrack footage

  • Still images

Approach:

  1. Music Selection: I began by selecting music tracks that would set a dynamic and exciting tone, similar to what you'd see on a sports channel. The tracks were sent to DNSFilter for approval.

  2. Video Editing: With the selected music, I cut together the main video elements, integrating the racetrack footage and still images.

  3. Graphics and Effects: To enhance the visual appeal, I added dynamic graphics and glitch effects, giving the video a modern and edgy look.

  4. Sound Design: I incorporated sound design elements, such as race car sounds and other audio effects, to further immerse viewers in the racing experience.

Review and Approval: The initial video draft was sent to DNSFilter for review. After rounds of feedback and adjustments among stakeholders, the final approval was given by Andretti Autosport.

Outcome: The finished hype video successfully captured the excitement and energy of the Indianapolis Grand Prix. The project received positive feedback from all involved parties, with everyone expressing great satisfaction with the final product. The video effectively promoted the race and showcased DNSFilter’s sponsorship in a compelling way.

Pop-Up Video Hype Reel for Webinar

This campaign featured about 20 videos we created for B2B social media based on a 6 session web event featuring guest Sugar Ray. Each of the videos were a few minutes in length and the hype reel featured artist Sugar Ray and motion graphics I created in the style of Pop-Up video of the 90s. The full hype-reel mimicked the music video for the artist with the presenters roto-d out and put in scenes similar to the music video.
